Alessandra Ruggeri is a mover and a teacher. Her practice is informed by several disciplines and approaches she has experimented with during her ongoing professional development.

Her academic training includes a BA in Dance at Trinity Laban, London and a MA in Economics in Rome. As a freelance performer Ruggeri has worked across the UK with companies and choreographers including Clod Ensemble, Jasmin Vardimon, Frauke Requardt, Theo Clinkard and Tilted productions.

More recently Ruggeri has been working in Switzerland, Austria and Norway. Ruggeri has taught movement classes in various settings, for professional and non-professional dancers, in London, Geneva, Rome and Vienna. She is also a qualified Pilates teacher.

Ruggeri became a member of the Russell Maliphant Company’s education team in 2017.
