Dr Kelina Gotman


 

Reader in Theatre and Performance Studies at King’s College London.

Kélina proposes to look at the history of concepts around movement, anatomy, training and work, to think how Maliphant’s choreographic practice offers a distinctive contribution to revolutionary experimentations in twentieth- and twenty-first century therapeutic holism. She will investigate, in particular, how Maliphant’s approach to mind/body integration enables him and his dancers to achieve a figure of effortlessness.
