Our activities are tailored to suit the needs of our participants. We engage with schools, colleges, universities, conservatoires, dance professionals and academics. We also run and contribute to a variety of projects in community settings.

The activities we offer explore an extensive range of disciplines from classical ballet, contemporary dance, contact improvisation, yoga, capoeira, Bodywork and martial arts.  Teaching may focus on one form, a combination of styles, or emphasise a particular theme, such as release technique, partner work or body contact.

Our programmes include:

  • Residencies and intensive projects  for professional dancers and dancers in training

  • Workshops for KS4 upwards which can be delivered in person or  online

  • Placement opportunities for students

  • Work experience opportunities

  • Lecture demonstrations

  • Mentoring

  • Resources such as education packs, soundtracks and other documentation

  • And bespoke programmes, including online provision,  to suit your requirements

The company’s participation activity is born from the heart of Russell’s creative process, merging techniques from classical and contemporary dance with principals and concepts from Bodywork and Martial arts. Activities offered explore an extensive range of disciplines from classical ballet, contact improvisation, yoga, capoeira and martial arts. Teaching may focus on one form, a combination of styles, or emphasise a particular theme, such as release technique, partner work or body contact.

If you’d like to discuss any of these bespoke education activities, contact Michelle Bynoe, Education Manager, m.bynoe@russellmaliphant.com
