Michelle has recently been accepted for PhD study at Canterbury Christ Church University. Her main area of interest is around models of dance practice and how the environment created enables commitment, motivation, engagement and high artistic outcomes with dance novices and  populations that may be considered as marginalised, challenging and hard to reach.
