Niamh Keady


 

Born in 2000, Niamh grew up in Cambridge. She began dance training at 14 when she joined DanceEast Centre for Advanced Training. She was a member of the National Youth Dance Company 2017/18 - working with artistic directors Sharon Eyal & Gai Behar - as well as Cambridge Youth Dance Company. 

She continued her training at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance, gaining a First Class (Hons) degree. Over her time there, she worked with the likes of Rita Marcelo, Barnaby Booth and Vicki Igbokwe. Outside of NSCD, she participated in R&D with Ben Duke & Elixir Ensemble.

Since graduating in 2021, she has worked with Ruby Portus for an intergenerational site-specific work, performing at Somerset House Courtyard as part of Good Chance Theatre’s ‘The Walk’ project, as well as with Zakarius Harry & Jamie Flatters on a short film.
